Affordable remotely controlled weapon system for tactical transport and armored vehicles
The WASP (Weapon, remotely controlled under Armor for Self Protection) remotely controlled weapon system is a lightweight affordable product that can be fitted on light armored vehicles and tactical trucks.
The system can operate a 7,62 mm and 5,56 mm machine gun. Thanks to the FELIN soldier system, the optronics line is composed of by off the shelf equipment. The non-line-of-sight firing capability of the FELIN is the basis of the remote observation. The remotely controlled platform has a light, robust and compact design.
